Moving to tech is the right choice in general. Are you excited about the role specifics?
Ask yourself why did you want to leave in the first place. I’m in the same boat, actively job searching even though I will very likely make manager this year but I’m committed to leave even if it comes through assuming I exit for higher base.
Money isn’t everything. Your time holds more value to me than a salary from a company. Since you’re headed to MANGA— I’m sure you’re getting RSUs so what will TC look like in 2-3/4 yrs…? What can you do with the extra time you’ll be getting back…?
Manager milestone bonus is 20% of base pay in PwC?

20% of base pay paid in April following the promotion.

This depends on what your pay is today. Similar situation, except I waited for the promotion and now I'm 3 months away from the payout. It's ~30k bonus for me.
Was it worth it? Pros: I just bought a house and have some potential emergency expenses in the next year or so, so the 30k makes me even on those. Cons: Mental health is in the gutter, lost out on a year of experience outside of consulting which is essential since many tech companies care very little for the manager title or consulting background.
In my specific situation it was (BARELY) worth it to wait. Generally I would tell people not to bother unless you're this close to the payout and you can delay start date/interview process. Being over a year away from payout, makes it less of a factor. You'll get a sign on bonus roughly equivalent to your mgr bonus anyways so if anything you're only leaving a small portion on the table
