I got an offer from another company. Currently working in walmart. The main idea behind getting an offer is to ask for a salary rise. I was very much underpaid here. So I thought getting an offer will help increase my pay here in walmart by getting counter offer from them. But i am not sure if I discuss with my manager it will backfire me.Walmart

As a realtor I’d be pissed af at you. That is super disrespectful and an insult to our time. So yeah, I hope your time gets wasted in your journey. There are some realtors who make their clients sign a contract so sh** like this doesn’t happen. You’re scum for that.
It was never the intention… we stopped communicating with the realtor we used before a while ago. And he sent me listing out of blue.
No, you should just choose one person to work with. Respond to your old realtor and say thanks for the listing, we are working with a friend this time around. Stop it before it gets too far!
Don’t work with realtors. Problem solved.
You said it Grant. Basically, eliminating one or both realtors from the deal HAS to benefit the Buyer in the end. (Seller too, if no realtor at all.). After all, the Buyer is bringing all the money to the table. Reducing the players reduces the amount to be brought.
Why should you not. If your realtor doesn’t have the listing go with the one who does. Your money, your house. They get paid for delivering and your new realtor hasn’t delivered.

How long were you working with the “old” realtor before you started working with your friend? Has your friend been adding value through the process, or are they just showing you properties you ask to see?
A realtor really earns their keep once you get a property under contract. After buying and selling multiple properties, I can tell you that a newer / green realtor is NOT worth the potential savings in commission if you get into a sticky situation. If your friend isn’t experienced, and you don’t have any pending offers out there, I’d suggest you find and commit to an experienced realtor to get the deal done properly. Whether that’s the “old” realtor or someone else… you definitely should take this seriously.

If you worked with the other realtor before and were happy, I would stick with them.
If you want to go with the friend, now is the time to say “thanks, but no thanks” to the other realtor.
Make a decision now and let the realtor you don’t go with know before you look at the house and ESPECIALLY before you make an offer!
Also, my friend is not saving me anything. He is getting his commission as normal.
When we worked with a friend, he gave us a piece of his commission because we made it really easy for him (toured just two homes before our decision)
