Never. From time to time it comes back. It goes away, when I have more free time, instead of working on school.
That makes sense, I feel like mentally I need a break and to force myself to be present in the moment, and find a hobby.
Yeah, it's totally normal to feel that way. School was a huge part of your identity for many years, and there's this big hole that you have to learn how to fill back up again. Eventually, as you move on with your life, you'll look back and look back at those memories with warmth and fondness. If you're sad now, that's only because of all the joy you associate with the past.
I definitely did. I believe you feel as if you are working towards a worthwhile goal. Again, I strongly recommend to finish your education in a timely manner and don’t go the non-traditional route. I feel I had more success in school than in my career. My career hasn’t gone as I had hoped; some was my fault ( lack of belief in my abilities, weight prejudice) but much of it were circumstances beyond my control. My favorite job role and best paying job got nixed by the pandemic. It’s been rocky ever since. And now I am nearing retirement! I have been laid off 5 times! Asked to leave ( because of funky mgmt. ) about 3-4 times. The workplace doesn’t always reward hard workers, it’s fraught with BS, weird personalities and pettiness. I am glad I only have to deal with it for at least 7 months. Unless I can find a great part-time opportunity after that!
I loved college I would go the rest of my life if I could. The feeling went away when I realized I couldn't borrow anymore. I had to come to terms
You are not alone OP as I definitely felt that way after graduating. Its tough to figure out what you are supposed to be doing with your life when you spend so much time in school. It does get better but it takes some time.
