AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon
Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

Nooooo
I'd be cautious about hiring you if you showed it to me.
Yeah you run the risk of a major non compete clause issue. What kind of paper work did you sign at your current agency?
It's not just about that. The work is the IP of the client and it's confidential until released to the public in the market. It's not about simply non compete agreements, which is different and also something to adhere to, of course.
The question is do you show work that isn't live yet. No, you don't.
Wow this is horrible advice. You are a junior. This is a confidential interview. Show it to the other creatives you interview with and tell them it's not live yet.
I would hire you. Then fire you. Just to teach you a lesson.
Copywriter, you can't hire anyone.
Do it. Who cares.
Should you? No. Do people do it? Yes.
Would and could are two separate words. As a copywriter I know this to be true.
I always have an attorney look at my non competes because some of them are written in a way where they can get you for bringing over partner relationships, old clients, anything
I've always been told that though we thought up the work, we technically aren't meant to be taking/saving/showing any work in a portfolio as it belongs to the client or agency, but it's a given otherwise it's impossible to get jobs. Do it but put a password on your online book if you're worried.
Creative, absolutely right for work that has been published. Work that is still pending, don't show
