For experienced accounting professionals considering a transition into a career with solid work/life balance, a fast-growing biotech company near San Francisco is hiring for a SOX Compliance Manager and Senior Accountant/Manager roles. Roles pay well over $100k.

Generous benefits, fun company culture, and VERY favorable stock options. Message me if interested, and I will try to screen you for an interview!

Currently looking for a position in Tampa, FL that focuses on culture and employee engagement. I have 1.5 years of HR experience under my belt with a law degree (concentrated in discrimination in the workplace) and I have a bachelor’s in psych. Anyone know of any roles available? Also considering generalist positions.

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

I’m so tired of US companies hiring remote Canadian employees offering to pay a fraction of the price for the same role.

This is consistent across the majority of the tech companies. While I am looking to exit consulting, don’t want to be paid 50% of what my colleagues would be making across the border.

Bain & Company I have a second round with Bain & Company coming up at the DC office for Experienced Consultant role. Excited, but hella nervous. Recruiter said it’d be 3 separate interviews, all with Partners; 2 case, 1 fit. About 40 mins each. First round was 2 case interviews with Sr. manager & Associate Partner. Been a rough year, so definitely looking forward to this opportunity. I’ve been on the site and going through preparation and materials. Any advice or suggestions welcomed!

CFP study programs:

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
