Hi everyone! Has anyone else’s number of “team meetings” with leadership increased (i.e.: 1x a week to 3x a week via zoom)? If so, do you feel the need to still have multiple meetings per week just to “connect/check in”? How are you keeping them meaningful and intentional? Are team members engaged? When this WFH first started, I feel it made a lot more sense. But now people are rocking and rolling. I’d love to hear about others’ team meeting experiences these days! Be well.

I'm never going back to the office. I love WFH too much. Here's how wonderful the last 24 have been: Tapped out by 4pm took dog walking, cooked a nice dinner, ran the dishwasher, watched my fav show while cuddling my dog and SO. Logged back in 9-12 when weather is cool and all is quite. Woke up at 8:59 to join status call. Brushed teeth, coffee, while listening. Worked till 12. Played with doggo, ate. Worked 1:30-4, showered. Will log in again tonight. Why would I ever give this up?!
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. I was laid off in April due to Covid related business losses. I still haven’t found a position. Is this normal? I declined an in-house offer last month but am beginning to get a little panicked. Thoughts?
Back before we entered the twilight zone, did your employer provide additional compensation for employees they deemed to be “frequent” travelers? If so, how was it structured? EY, Deloitte, Crowe, and Revint did. My current employer, Dixon Hughes (DHG) does not. I’d like to enter in to a dialogue with HR before we start traveling again. Thanks in advance for any comments.
Well folks according to Bloomberg, AT Kearney and Strategy& put everyone to dust for median pay for all Companies. Mck and BCG were there. No Bain or other Big 4. Google and Facebook also very strong.
