Is it safe to join Cognizant in M role with a higher package? How is the current scenario heard lots of reviews about layoff and stuff

Got two offers on the table, who love to hear your advice!

- Finance Business Partner for a late stage (Series D/valuation 3B) startup tech company

- Corp Dev analyst role for a listed niche gambling company

The tech job pays 15k more, but from what I can see will be a cluster and super long hours (has EU stakeholders). Maybe a pipe dream, but I want to have a "somewhat" decent wlb while still growing my career toward strategy and finance.

Thoughts on which one is better?

Is it fair to say once you’re an LS consultant you can always fall back to a tier 2,3 firm? For context I’m looking to go from consulting to a hospital implementation role.

Does it seem unrealistic for my counter offer to be 12k more than the original offer? Considering that the original offer is roughly 8k less than the market salary. Plus i’m also accounting for wiggle room as i’m not expecting them to actually agree with the full 12k counter offer

Hi, i have my joining with cognizant tomorrow(12 sep), i have received the onboarding pass but haven't received any onboarding meeting invite , when do they generally send the meeting invite?

Cognizant calls me twice in a week whether I am holding any other offer or not.

Does that mean they will match if I am holding another offer?
