Is MBB > Tech still a common pathway for an exit? Coming up on my second year post-MBA and ready to leave consulting for good, but haven’t seen many options on the market, ideally big tech in London (but honestly open to anything in tech with good WLB and a 80k+ paycheck)

My boss asked me what id like to do moving forward at work. The department im in has gone under many changes the past few months. I was really hoping the business would put me in a place they “need” me but instead it’s up to me…
My goal is to reach the top, climb the ladder and one day be CEO. I have a lot of outside influences that make this a possible venture.
I’m currently in sales but don’t know if the right path is to continue in.
What should I say to my boss, knowing I’m on right path?

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. I get tax brackets but in the UK making 30K you pay ~£6K tax and when you make around 5x more at £150k you pay 10x more tax ~£60k. What things can you do to lower your tax in consulting? (I’m not at 150 yet but most of us will get there hopefully if we stay in this role)
