Just make sure you really wanna live in Nashville. It’s one thing to visit, but it’s a far cry from New York City. If you just wanna lower cost of living, you might wanna consider Chicago or Atlanta.
See if you can get a job there before you go. Or go there on a mission to find one. Not familiar with the agency scene there, but it’s best if there are a few options for you there. Change is a good thing. I’d go for it. If it doesn’t work out, you leave. You only regret the things you don’t do. Good luck!

What’s a good agency job? Not sure there are many of those out there.
GS&F, Anthem Republic, and redpepper.
Are you opposed to working in-house? Though I haven’t looked into it, I’m sure there are lots of brands there.
It’s pretty bad. I had an offer to move there once and turned it down because of lack of other agencies if I lost job. If you plan on being remote freelance, sure, go where you like. If you think you’re going to thrive bouncing around agencies, it ain’t your city.
Then again, I’m not that enamored by the city either. Has a country Disneyworld feel these days. Yes I know there’s cool parts, I’ve been to them. But not enough to make me want to move.
Nash where?
Honestly you can make good work anywhere.

Wish Memphis had a good scene. Way cooler city and cheap. At least visit.
Nashville will always just be the city I go to for Hattie B's
