I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt

The job market is dependent on your level. I was laid off in June and started a new job in August. In my case, I have a CPA, CITP and 14 years of experience. Get that CPA, take some free skills training and getting a job should be easier.
It actually took me less than 60 days to land a better job. Lost the job in April, got multiple offers. Currently working in a better PA firm, with a higher pay. Don’t have the mindset that it will take long, during the interview be positive and be confident that you are going to get the job.

Seems like it’s back to pre-2020 levels in terms of consistent opportunities for salary growth. Lots of garbage positions and resume farming is going on. Several companies interviewing candidates with no intention of filling the role. Companies are spooked and in a holding pattern, and where I work budgets are cut worse than they've been in years.

Use the time to study and pass?
Yes Director - in the works
Are you applying for private or PA roles? Maybe your comp expectations are higher than what they’re willing to pay. Could be not a fit because of something mentioned in the interviews.
I only did fund audits as part of this past busy season, only a month of it. Before that all my engagements were REITS
It is very BAD, I’m at SF
Yea, I did, just started this week as a Senior in FDD again. I’m grateful. Gosh felt like winning lottery.
Using any recruiters? Sometimes they can get you feedback you wouldn't get otherwise
Recruiters have been a waste of time. I will talk to them once and they disappear after that. They send me the same positions months later and try to frame something that isn’t what it seems. They don’t even provide feedback of the interviews don’t go well. I have had better luck applying myself than working with recruiters
Same here been applying but little to no interviews
How was AUD? And how’s REG?
It’ll pick back up in the fall as firms hire for busy season. Standard ebb and flow.
I know someone WITH CPA and 3 years experience who took 4 months to land a role. He wasn’t even picky either.
Shesh that’s crazy…. Guess I’m screwed lol

Are you working on getting your CPA?

Was in audit
It's that bad! 🙄😭
Same here, I’ve always gotten numerous calls for interviews now nothing. So quiet I’ve applied to over 80 positions even going as far out as an 1 1/2 hours away.
My resume, experience and qualifications are good. I’m not into sales and no medical/dental experience and seems like that’s all I’m seeing.
I have 15 yrs office Manager experience in construction and 5 yrs automotive accounting office.
Very discouraging, considering we just moved into a new home and unemployment rates are terrible, can’t live on that for much longer.
Yes. It’s bad.
Dadly, it's very bad
