How bout you tell us what firm you're from so we can make a snap judgement about you too?
Very true about PwC, arrogant assholes EVERYWHERE!
Lol how do you have a stereotype about KPMG but none about EY? But KPMG must be auditing all the time since their audits are pretty shitty.
Yea KPMG used to audit both of my clients and said there were no issues. We find a minimum of 50 SADs every year and everything is a mess.
@RSM1 what tf is RSM?
^ Yeah just take a look at Sunedison, KPMG did wonders with that audit fucking up left and right
@RSM1 I didn't even make a snap judgement on your firm since you aren't big enough lol
Listening to EY shit on KPMG is always fun
EY looks for lists to prove they are better....
For Dallas audit: KPMG - party-ers, irresponsible. Deloitte - snobby b/c of their consulting arm, but they are just dirty auditors like the rest of us. PWC - little brother syndrome. EY - premier auditors in town, clean cut and ambitious, but knock is that we are nerds. Obviously not unbiased here, but I have heard the same thing from people in other firms.
So companies with the most revenue are therefor the best to work for? No doubt PwC and Deloitte have better advisory practices, but since when is revenue the best metric to measure a firms success? We all do the same shit. Every office and every team is different. Some better, some worse. But I find it especially funny when EY goes off on KPMG. I mean really? You work for EY, not Bain. Grow up
Local EY office is full of Greek alums trying to relive their glory days. But otherwise spot on.
Shut up tax
My impression: KPMG is just there, Deloitte is basically a frat/sorority and seemed arrogant, EY works crazy hours but parties hard, and PwC also works like crazy but not as bad as EY. Obviously I am biased cause I like working at PwC but I know there are better places out there and PwC is by no means perfect.
I used to work for KPMG and it was awful. Huge partiers? You totally got that wrong.
It's all about the market you're in. What's the point in shitting on each other when we're all in the same boat and just trying to finish out the busy season?
I think it depends completely on your location. I know where I am Deloitte holds the party people stigma, not us.
Seriously, does anyone have a common perception of EY? I agree with OP.
I always though this was funny though, and fairly accurate goingconcern.com/sites/default/files/Screen%20Shot%202013-11-08%20at%203.46.34%20PM.png
@EY3 that's incredibly rude, lol.
