Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

It's nice to see there are companies where minorities have opportunities. Just one thing, though. If 7 of 8 leadership positions are minorities, is that really "diverse." One of the reasons why "diversity" is becoming a four-letter word these days is because it is being used to mean "not white, straight, Anglo-Saxon, protestant males." If the CEO is a black woman and she only hires black women, then that's not really a "diverse and inclusive" environment, is it? Don't get me wrong. Some of my best friends are white, Anglo-Saxon, protestant, straight males. Okay, so I have one friendly acquaintance who's bi-racial. Does that count?

What?
Yes, if 7 of 8 leadership positions are filled with people of diverse backgrounds, that’s the exact definition of the word.
This CEO hasn’t hired anyone, she’s inherited this group from the prior CEO when he retired. Ironically enough, he is a gay white man from South Africa.
The only people using diversity in that way are those that are afraid of the word and inclusion itself. There’s too much available data that shows how people of diverse backgrounds do not get the same opportunities. Diversity means so much more than someone's race.
