l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?

Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

How do you count years of experience? Lets say you were a web master for 5 years. Then you transitioned into a proper UX role and did that for 5 years. Is that 10 years of experience or 5?

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. I love my new team and people here! Super healthy working environment! But just curious about the title.

What are actionable items one should strive for when trying to grow as a designer after landing their first role? I hear a lot about ways to grow to land the first job but very little about how to improve after you know the basics.

I started a new job just 7 weeks ago, but an opportunity for a dream job just suddenly and unexpectedly fell into my lap! It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity! I know I'm being severely underpaid, I just want to know the range I SHOULD be making so I can bring it up with my employer so the eventual person in this position after me doesn't have to be in the same boat.

For reference: I make about $30k and I'm a (remote) graphic designer with 4 YOE and I do all the design work plus social media management for the company and outside clients. I also have multiple certifications. 🙃
