I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . If i convey to my ibm manager will they consider for 4months of WFH?Any documents may have to show?

Any other loan officers in here? I'm trying to decide if I should dig in with the current market or look to pivot. I've only been a loan officer since 10/2020. So this is my first rough patch. The style of leads my company provided was different than what they have me doing now. It went from hot inquiries to cold call center calls. Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?

I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.

Hello, I was recently let go from my firm for not being able to pass the series 10 exam. I passed the 9 and have my SIE, 7, and 63. Are there any jobs out there that require the 9 but not the 10? All the jobs I can find require them both but I’d like to use my 9. Thanks for any advice!
