This isn’t really an interview question but more of an on-boarding question.
Bit of background- I left my job of 3 years in Dec 2021 for a new company. Initially, I thought the company was great but my mind quickly changed. The on-boarding process was horrible, minimal training, thrown onto enterprise project 2 weeks in, over time, and there is no process for anything. I ended up hating my job.

Fast forward to Mid March, I started applying for jobs again but I omitted this role.

Is there a way to gain some modeling skills from FDD? My plan is to exit as FP&A or Corp Dev but I heard they are looking for modeling skills. I know that working I can try to move to IB and then try that route but IB hours seem to be too brutal for me.

Has anyone accepted a secondment to a client? Was it worth it? Did you stay with your firm or did the secondment turn into a FT position?

Deloitte folks, I need help. I saw a job posting for life science strategy manager. This would be a lane change from my current role as clinical manager. I have a PhD in biology and would love to break into consulting. But not sure how.

Tip for anyone taking the CAIA exam, get UpperMark. Was using willey and was abt 1/2 complete and borrowed a friends test bank … night and day much harder and honestly was more like what I expected

so i want to break into the automotive industry. not exactly sure where to start. i am still fairly young (26) and been at my job for 5 years now. Would "odd" programming experience be considered against the AWS higher level cert requirements? Never officially been a Dev at any of my positions, but did a lot of smaller, "homegrown" projects at each, i.e. python scripts to automate certain processes.
