Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Automotive suppliers or the Big 3 (if possible) are always hiring - look at the big ones (Bosch, BorgWarner, Mahle, etc) and a role that is relevant (admin assistant, procurement support, etc) and then work your way up. Not too late and an industry ripe for a go-getter!
Yeah, I’d look at remote jobs - most automotive corporate jobs are out of Detroit (Big 3), Nashville (Nissan), California (most others)
I was in this position when i was 19. So i deviddd to go ahead and go to an automotive program(do not recommend it) and began working at tire shops, then independant shops doing high end performance cars and now i am in the dealership
World. If you love problem solving, logical thinking, challenging yourself and feel like you will get satsifaction and joy from having a broken car come to you and have it leave fixed and the customer is happy. Then id say go for it. You are 25, which is an age where pay is a huge factor. Do no expect great pay for atleast the first 3 years. If you can get into a dealership right away entry level, stay there for 3 years, you will then start to get decent pay increases. I job hopped a lot which costed me my opportunities at seniority, raises and at every new job no matter my experience i had to start with low pay to prove my skills before getting a raise. I am 27, make $26/hr, been with my job for 5 months
