Looks subtle and professional to me.
You should go for whatever color interests you. Life is too short to “Keeping up appearances”! Celebrate YOU!
I personally think it’s unprofessional.
I disagree, you should be able to bring your whole self to work
Or something like this

Color is nice
I don’t think so. Bright red or pink is different. But this looks natural enough
Just do it
As a redhead (auburn now) im sad by some of these responses, my natural is a variation of these but less purple and I add red to it. I really only think a 🌈 color is unprofessional in this field, not every. How many of these women dye their hair blonde or have blond highlights or go all over dark. If its done professionally and maintained do it.. especially if it makes you feel good and confident!
Oh no youre fine! Just those that think the color you want to try is unprofessional. Like there is only a certain subset of colors or you have to be natural to be professional 🙄 women will always judge… so you do what makes you feel good!
I don’t think a wine color would look unprofessional and I don’t think the color in this photo if properly maintained would look unprofessional. I do think this photo is, though. Once an unnatural color starts to look old, dull, and blotchy, then yes I feel it’s unprofessional.
Side note, Indian here as well and I think a wine or subtle dark burgundy would look great. Try something subtle at first and go deeper if you like. I support it
Edit: just seeing the second pic you posted. YES! Exactly what I was thinking. Go for it!
Thanks girl!!
I think it's dark enough it works - it's pretty!
I have pink hair and it’s buzzed. Shockingly, my work output hasn’t changed and my reputation continues to be stellar.
Do you.
No problem. This is okay

The first color I would say no, the second I would say yes - if you do dye your hair any color of red, just be aware that red is a hard color to keep up with. You will need to regularly re-dye it or it'll turn into a weird orangey color.
Thank you all for the reassurance 😊 so excited to get this done. Appreciate the support!!
I think if you keep it darker, it works! I personally love it. 💕Someone on my team dyed her hair a with a bright purple section… that was really unprofessional—IMO.

You do you!

You’re totally fine. I have colleagues with rose gold, purple silver, etc. hair. This shade is dark enough and close to brunette is certain lighting that some people may not even notice that much
I’m Indian too and had got my full red highlights done. Got nothing but compliments from my (female) MD. It’s professional as long as you behave professionally in them. Go for it!
Not at all I would 100% say go for it
Personally for me, I cannot trust anyone with wine colored hair….signals a drinking problem
I mean I accidentally got bright pink highlights once and my MD commented, but more in a surprised way. Clients never said anything. I’m a small Asian woman and it was never an issue.

I have this colour

I have had both actually in last two years. I really get bored with my black hair and colour them from time to time
