Curious what the base and commission structure is for inside sales and associate director of sales in biotech (also anyone else who wants to share pls put industry). Paid hourly or salary? At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

I revised my CTC from JPMC before joining. Now in 1-1 discussion my manager told very nice things about me but also told me that my CTC is already above market standards for my experience and tech stack. He told that they won't be able to justify my pay and gave me SOO. How much is the hike and bonus for SOO rating?

Curious here - my buddy just became a “Director” of Business Development in a LCOL area for a professional sports team. He likes to brag about how much he makes but I don’t really buy it. According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?

On every call, we hear Joe talk about making new Partners and his commitment. I have yet to see any of those ‘commitments’ be reflected in actions or explanations. (eg. No senior directors from commercial GTM going into PCLDE this year …) What?

Need some suggestions: My current company is on a layoff spree and 2 rounds are already done and I can foresee another round coming very soon.

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.
