Sure is, people will always have animal companions and will seek the best possible quality of life for them. Sometimes even at the expense of their own QOL. Not concerned at all
Definitely, the need for pet care has no correlation to how the economy is doing overall and people love their pets enough to invest whatever amount of money is necessary for them to be healthy
Like most other medical professions, veterinarians have pretty secure jobs since people won't stop wanting quality care for ther pets
We're in the healthcare industry, so you can be pretty damn sure we're not losing our jobs anytime soon
I don't think any of use should be concerned about a possible recession unless you're already struggling to stay afloat
I don't think that veterinary doctors should worry at all. Let's be real, there is always going to be pets needing to be taken care of, and even if a recession comes around, there will be a demand for doctors worldwide.
I would worry if I were a business owner. A recession is no joke and it doesn't discriminate. You could easily lose your business because there is too much competition, and on top of that, running a business in itself is hard, imagine with a recession.
My work load has increased during the looming recession, not decreased. When people are struggling, they often turn to animal companions and those pets need us.
