Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.
C3.ai, Inc.
Netcracker Technology Corp. I recently gave interview for the Netcracker Technol.During the initial calls they confirmed my current salary and expected salary. Then they proceeded with the technical rounds and finally HR round was also cleared. They asked me to wait for the offer letter as they required approval from business. After a week when I got no updates on the offer letter i texted them asking about the same. They replied me on the text that the business did not gave approval for the offer. TBC in comment section..

Is it framed that way on the documentation? Or do they have "Unlimited PTO"? Unlimited PTO policies work well for high performers looking to have autonomy over their schedule. Which means they can take that 2 week vacation if you get the work done and the billables are on point. Will they likely do some of that work on vacation? Maybe/ probably? But I see it work well for people all the time.
But it they said there is no PTO and you just take off whenever, that world be a red flag.
My firm has "unlimited PTO". It also pays a cash "award" for taking a full week off (consecutive days). I took vacations, took the award, and still made partner.
Which firm is this, and are they hiring?
It is if the requirements in the deliverables constantly change to where they are “behind” the new standards
This is really dependent on the company. You need to find out the culture (on average how much time do people take off) and what your direct manager is like. Unlimited PTO of course never means really unlimited, you can’t take 5 months off of work. But it can mean that rather than being anxious about going over a set number of days, you are treated as a professional who can arrange your own time.
