It has been five months since I started looking for a job, but I still haven’t been able to find one. I am fully deaf, and I feel like that might be part of the reason. Sometimes it seems like managers don’t want to work with deaf people — but maybe I’m wrong.

I keep seeing “Now Hiring,” but when I apply, they say the position is no longer available. It’s confusing, and there is a lack of communication. I’ve had a few interviews, but after that, they never contact me again.

A recruiter asked me how much I get paid in my current position? Is this inquiry normal?

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). It’s a 4 year degree and under this I have my High School equivalent with the years I attended there. The education wasn’t mentioned in the interviews. Continued below.

I recently switched to a developer role in a product based company from a support engineer for past 4 years in a service based company. I got a good hike as well.

Received my first prenatal massage at 19 weeks today and the therapist was trained and did a bit of myofascial stretching techniques. Never touched my stomach. Just lower back, arms, legs and feet. I have had cramps in my abdominal area since a few hours after the massage. Not sure if it’s cramps or stretching pains. Drinking a ton of water to flush out toxins, but is this pain normal?
