I find the last interviews are less technical and more cultural/personality/fit. But a GC will likely still focus on your ability to do the work. If you’ve progressed that far they’ve already evaluated your ability to do the job.
I interviewed with 5 people last Monday, including two senior lawyers and the GC. The GC was the hardest interview by far and he didn’t waste time. On Friday I had the two last interviews and they were with the head of HR and the Chief Commercial Officer and those were much more fit based, but for the latter person I did give a lot of my professional background compared to the HR one.
Chief
nice you are getting an offer
From my experience, these have been ways to meet the GC and get their final sign off before an offer. I’ve never had an overly technical one.
