It’s been a long road, but I’m finally in the last round of interviews for two different jobs this week (both with the GC). In your experience, is this interview usually more casual/a formality? I’ll still prep just in case, but frankly I’m exhausted from the working-while-interviewing grind and just looking for some good news/reassurance that the process is basically over.

I’m entering salary negotiations at a Fortune 500 company and am looking for trustworthy resources for salary data that I can share with the company if they ask where I got my numbers. I know Glassdoor, but what else?

Have you had to change your start date after accepting an offer and how did it go? I told them I need to give 30 day notice and so I set my start date (incorrectly) assuming the background check and drug screen would take a few days to clear. However, the drug screen is now taking over a week and a half (still not finished, maybe tomorrow). Apparently things are much slower due to staffing issues and labs are backed up. It’s cutting into my 30 day notice significantly. Thoughts?

Considering trying to make a pivot. Currently a prosecutor. I have a lot of trial experience and did some ID work.
