Hi fishes, I've joined TCS on 9th nov as a 2 YOE .Net developer. Since past week I'm getting project interview calls, I have given 3 till now, not selected in 1 and not sure in other 2. I've followed up with the interviewers about my interview , both said that they have given their feedback to their managers and if there is an requirement I will be called up. I am little worried seeing all the layoffs going on...can my employment be in danger upon failing in project interviews?? Tata Consultancy
Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Don’t actively share. And to assuage your anxiety, as long as you weren’t serving hard time for those 6 months, it’s almost guaranteed you can spin your time off positively. Lots of people have them now with COVID and the great resignation…I personally am beginning to see them as badges of honor!
I like that “hard time”
Wait until they ask. I can speak from experience that it is not a big deal

I’ve seen this a few times and never thought twice about it or asked a candidate about it. It’s very understandable to want a break post-BigLaw and people understand that you likely have the cash to take that kind of break. If asked, I’d just say you took a bit of a break to decompress and are now refreshed and excited to get back into things in a new role.

This. I had legit family and personal crap happened. Took a year off. Was asked once. Told them. Was hired. If they want your skill they want your skill. Most folks don’t care.
If you have a good reason be proactive and don’t let prospective employees speculate - if you were fired it will come up later or maybe not if you have references from that employer still. In that case - covid / overworked / family are all gap explanations that are instantly accepted.
