I’ve always been so self critical and it’s come to a point where I don’t like myself and I’m not proud of myself. I feel so mediocre at everything I do (career, hobbies, etc.). My career feels on the downward trajectory. I quit my last job with nothing lined up because I was so burnt out and crying every day from it. Makes me feel like I’m weak and can’t handle anything

Did anyone here turn down an in-house role for reasons other than money? I have SEVERE cold feet about succeeding in-house and it being more stressful and “busy” than firm life. Help!

Is it crazy to switch a job while undergoing IVF?
I’ve been in my current role for almost 4 years. While I am generally happy, & have flexibility with time off for personal matters, there are things that bother me. I have an offer for way more money, manager title (which I want), much larger bonus & IVF benefit is better. However, I’m in the middle of stims and it is STRESSFUL. Part of me can’t imagine taking on a new role while I’m in the middle of this. But also feel like I can’t pass it up

I’ve been practicing in traditional labor for about two years now (although about a decade of labor relations experience) but I’m trying to break into employee benefits law. Unfortunately I’m not being given much experience in benefits as I’m pretty typecast as a labor atty. Any advice on how I can go about getting employee benefit experience? My long term goal is to have benefits be my main area of practice.

What is an ideal package for a Senior analyst in investment banking (merger and Acquisition) in India with 4.0 years of experience?

I can’t get over how meaningless my life is. I feel stuck in a dark tunnel with no light at the end. I don’t know what I’m doing in life. It’s overwhelming and makes me cry over every little thing. Has anyone experienced difficulties with speech/thinking through taking anti-depressants or from suffering with long term depression?
