Bain & Company Got dinged after a final round AC interview with Bain & Company as an experienced hire with 1 YOE. Currently at $75k base salary and on average work 30-40 hours a week.
Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Get in touch with any professional acquaintances you may have, former coworkers, friends from school, whoever else. Let people in your circle know you're looking, sometimes people will know of something. Or they can steer you to someone they know who might know of an opening. In other words, network all you can.

Agree with TM1. Network. If you see a job posting, try to find someone at that company to internally refer you. Use AI to tailor your resume to each and every job.

Perhaps try looking for temp work. You could create a lasting connection from that. Try to reach out directly to hiring managers also. Otherwise, keep applying. All the best!
