I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

wow half million! congrats!
Industry is not that different but you have to live with your ideas, execute your plans, manage up and down the chain, respect the culture and recognize the hours aren’t shorter, just different. Spent 10 years in industry. Last rec is get equity, that’s how you build wealth faster in industry.
I mean, he’s a P so jokes on all of us
What field are you in?
I don't know how you could be scared of those numbers. Worst case scenario you flame out after a year of earning 3x current salary and go on vacay. The real question is what % is bonus vs base? Bonus isn't guaranteed obviously.
Sounds like OP is boosting his figgies!
Give us deets OP, tell us howw
That’s insane! Congrats op! So uh what do you do? :D
What type of role OP?
@D5 he just joined today. He doesn’t know the ropes yet 😂
OP what’s your competency or number of years of experience?
OP has a case of right place right time
So what are you exactly scared of?
@d4 that sounds exactly like consulting...?
Yeah i dunno D4 that depends on the industry. Most people i know work 9-5 90% of the time ... as did i back when i was ind
Agree with D1. I worked at least as much or sometimes even more in Industry. The whole 9 to 5 thing is a myth, except maybe in some very rare circumstances I've seen in my 25 years of experience - usually just frontline hourly employees.
Which industry? I dont disagree but type if industry depends. My friend went from SC to investment director at PE firm and works same consulting hours....other friend went to hr/training as M and works maybe 5-6 hours a day max
D5, that's nuts! I came from HR and training and worked 60 to 90 hours a week in industry. I want to know where they work!
Congratulations
It’s the bonus that makes the overall comp seem crazy... based on base salary alone... it’s only 1.5X what I make now... but they also offer a much better benefits package + pension match compared to my current firm
I buy it
These people that work 90 hours a week in industry and never my clients. That door starts turning at 4pm on the dot.
