I’ve been on the bench for a few weeks now. Is it just me?

Currently how is the bench situation in cognizant ? does it have project openings for Java+ Spring Boot + Microservices . Any new Joiners with similar skill set please share you experiences like how many days does it take to get assigned to the project with this skillset.

I have joining in Cognizant this month end, Please help me with the info.

How far into implementation and execution do you get as a strategist (and what's your specialty). I notice social strategist tend to get way more into the executional portion, even writing copy etc. whereas brand strategy tends to roll off once the briefing process is done. Does brand strategy ever go on shoots or vendor/production meeting and are they responsible for it? I joined CG on 27th July, the first project require me to work on documentation not related to my tech(networking) this I said no and went on bench.
The second project/client they tagged asking me to wrok on FTP L1 Monitoring and t-shoot.
Again this is not relevant to my exp(6 years in Network).

How to get released from this? the upper line is not in touch with me not they responding with update

How long is too long to try to push back a start date? Getting a formal offer early next week but trying to keep that big law bonus if possible. Firm pays out bonuses Dec 30 & I have a vacation scheduled Dec 19-23 (and was planning on working remotely the week after too). Ideally want to get EOY bonus or negotiate for a signing bonus but is it too much to push for signing bonus and those weeks off? I have received job offer from KPMG UK. They are running background check on my immediate two employers. They have out source this to third party vendor. I have employment gap of 6 months. Agency is asking me to write a letter explain my situation in those 6 months. I was actively applying for jobs and appearing for interviews during those 6 months. I will explain this in detail in the letter. Do I need to submit any other document.
