I've been practicing 3 years in litigation in a Midwest UBE state. My partner got a job offer in Tampa, and we want to accept, but I really need a job. I went to law school in the area, but finding it hard for a firm to take someone on who isn't licensed yet in Florida. Anyone know of firms that are open to a relocating attorney? Maybe even to take on an attorney as a clerk until passing the bar and then transition to an associate?

Would you ever mentor a junior accountant at your firm? Do they reach out to you? I really would like to help more younger people get into the industry.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

What’s the best way to handle a traffic ticket? (I don’t practice this). There are two tickets. The first for one headlight being burnt out and the second for a plate light being burnt out. Car was later sold if that changes anything. Should they pay the tickets or go ask the judge for dismissal? And if the latter, what to say to the judge?
