I’ve been thinking about whether certifications actually translate into better pay long term. What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.

Increasing CTCs in india is the single greatest hindrance from becoming a 5trillion economy. Opportunity cost to leave the job and start something of your own is widening. Further are these salaries even sustainable. Revenue of companies hasn't kept pace with compensation increase in india and it's a bubble which is soon going to burst. I'd think twice before accepting the offer in excess of 50% hike

Researching the job mkt & pay for nursing: It is so easy to set up a first interview esp. as a nurse. Set up a zoom meeting, in the zoom meeting ask abt job details and ask for the salary range. They will give it to you, and in my case it was the same range for both of the companies. (Hospice oncall nurse here👋). Then you fit in somewhere on that continuum based on education & experience—that where the negotiation comes in—they will make a case to place you as low as possible on the scale.
