I’ve been watching drivers who stream on twitch and I can’t get over how monotonous the job can be. How do drivers keep themselves entertained?

Might have to travel to a new location for a one-off project meeting but the location is not on the LCA and not enough time to get it filed. How bad will it be if I do go?

Does anyone have a professional side hustle? Closer to white collar stuff than driving Uber or making hand bags, as examples. I need a side hustle that I can do from home.

Hi There - I'm considering a role in consulting. The role is London based and as some of you may know the commute into London by train is significantly expensive (especially compared to my pre-covid commute by car). So that I can properly consider any offers I may get - can you claim expenses generally when travelling to client site, if that client site is also in London (albeit a different part of London to where your home office).

A PE firm recruiting me for a role in their investment team but in a more of a “internal consulting role” i.e. working more on the value creation after an asset is acquired. What would be your take on that? Should I worry it’s a second class citizen role in the inv. team?

Interviewed for a firm that seems great and pays better than my current job, but one issue... they don’t offer 401k matching (my current firm does). All other benefits are the same though. I’m seriously considering leaving my current job for this new opportunity since it sounds like a great fit for me, I just don’t know how to handle the lack of 401k matching. I just qualified for my 401k at my current place but haven’t contributed yet and I need to get my savings in order. Advice?
