Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Oh and I forgot at least 6 current (within the last year or so) approved publications in a peer reviewed academic journal in Physics or relevant engineering field.
Haha, that sounds about right. And it's not too far removed from some real job postings I've seen. I don't know whether they think there could be one person on earth with all the qualities they desire and demand. Or whether someone is just cutting and pasting qualifications and not really reading what any of it says.
No. I'm serious. I'm tired of dealing with morons. I applied recently for a position at a startup and HR told me I didn't have enough experience for the level I applied for but they'd let me "prove myself". Only a couple problems with that...first, I don't need to prove Jack to anyone, I probably have more experience than the ass that told her to tell me that, and I'm not desparate/unemployed so I told HR to shove it and I'm out.
10 years hands on experience on ChatGPT and Gemini.
Must be paid less than 200% more than direct reports.
And...where would you like to work again? A start up?
Oh and I forgot, if a company tells me their "process" involves > 3 rounds of interviews if I decide to go along with it (and I probably won't) they can fly me on-site.
+ rockstar, ninja, work hard play hard, team player, fast learner, passionate about changing the world with [insert meaningless technology du jour here]…. plus 6+ years experience for entry level salary in HCOL area.
I wish I could use that last line in interviews
When I tell you I felt this in my soul LOL. Might not be able to find an employer with that many prerequisites but hey....its definitely worth a try LOL.
