I’ve seen roles with titles that sound junior but actually carry a lot of responsibility, and sometimes the pay doesn’t match. I’m trying to get better at asking how the title compares to industry norms before negotiating. Has anyone pushed for a higher salary because the role was more senior than the title suggested?

Waiting to hear from Novartis on a job I interviewed for 2 weeks ago. They emailed me a Conflict of Interest Form to sign last week, which got me thinking an offer was coming but I'm still waiting. Thoughts on whether this form means anything? I daydream about quitting my current toxic job :/

I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?
