I've spent 5+ years as a Legal Billing Specialist for a U.S. law firm while also developing legal billing software. I'm curious to hear from attorneys, legal admins, and billing professionals: What's the biggest challenge in your firm's billing process today? Is it time entry, e-billing/LEDES, invoice rejections, collections, or something else?

I'm here to learn from your experiences, not to pitch a product. An honest opinion is highly appreciated!

Hi All,
I'm joining EY India Technology Consulting in a week. However, EY is also my client, primarily we're involved in the maintenance of their internal user interface.

I can see a non solicitation clause in my current employer's offer letter than I can't join client within 12 months of my termination.

Are this non solicitation clauses followed in reality? Everyone's has been asking me to chill, since I'm joining as scon, not a manager or with any trade secrets. Opinions pls.

At an ID firm, but doing 30% ID, and the rest is appellate work + appellate work in a different area of law. Team is amazing—well known people in the legal community. Coming up on one full year at an ID firm. Feeling overwhelmed with my experience so far. I’ve received minimal training/feedback unless it was on something I messed up. It feels like the expectations don’t align with my level of experience. I have a case load of 45-55 with very little oversight or involvement from partners. Turnover is extremely high, as I’m the second longest tenured associate in the office. Looking for some guidance on whether this is the norm or not. Compensation is low 80’s.
