I've worked for a company through a temp agency, which converted over to a permanent position with the company. I went through a background check with the temp agency, as well as the company that hired me. I've worked almost 7 month in total. However, after 2 months with the company they terminated me, because they claimed they could not verify my education on my background check. Shouldn't they have confirmed all of that before I signed the offer letter and started working permanently?
