IYO does it make all vets look bad when veterans are in the news for committing wild crimes?

No it does not. We are taught self accountability. What someone else does doesn’t affect me. What I don’t like is when non vets try to use individuals who screw up as a means to try and accuse us all of being like someone who screwed up. Matter of fact that type of action is reprehensible as highly offensive.

Not at all, but it’s always annoying when non-veterans use those events to further some narrative about vets being damaged. That seems to be less common now that GWOT is over, at least.

Not at all. We live in a crazy world regardless what we do for work. The fact that we all aren’t wild and crazy is amazing IMO.
