Guys need 10 likes to get started with, thanks a lot
I have an offer from Mercer to join as module lead with 12.5 fix CTC and annual incentive plan which is not clearly mentioned in offer letter. My joining date is 31st October so as per company policy anyone joining after 1st oct won't be eligible for appraisal cycle nor for annual incentive plan..which makes my package 12.5 lacs for next one and a half year.
Not sure if it would be a wise decision, current CTC is 9.08 lacs Mercer

No one asked this question for the 15 years that he was driving a Toyota Corolla while he was building his company. When Amazon finally actually started having sales no one applauded him for shoveling all the proceeds back into Infrastructure, Research & Development. Now that he’s the second or third richest person in the world, now people start to take notice?! Nope.
In answer to your question:
Primarily Jeff Bezos earns significantly more than others because he properly identified a market need that was not being met, created a solution to the market problem a a price that the market was excited to pay.
*All of what’s stated above is not to suggest that Jeff Bezos and Amazon shouldn’t pay more in taxes. The USPS they often use for last mile delivery, roads, wires, internet, hell the stability the US Military has provided are all a social good that the Federal Government (we the people) have provided and Amazon can be expected to pay for it.
Not. He has changed the game significantly and enriched many other entrepreneurs along with him.
Everyone’s life has value it was bought at a price. Jesus paid that price for you and he loves you. Don’t worry about he has and how much he makes. Focus on the gifts and blessing your given. We don’t know what others had to go through, been put through the test to receive them. Pursue JESUS, who he is has more value than this world has to offer. GOD Bless you and Jesus loves you.

No one should be starving when there are billionaires.
lol i find many that are starving choose not to work
He makes all that money and his life is more valuable? 🙄 So what, he sacrificed and built his company and NOW makes tons of money and you want some of it? 🙄 Sure, he can donate lots of money to those less fortunate and he probably does but it’s HIS money, and he’s not REQUIRED to. You act like there’s some big pot of money somewhere and someone is doling out all that money to him and no one else…oooo how unfair. 🙄 You need to grow up. Maybe work as hard as Bezos has done and perhaps you’ll grow your company and start making millions. Life isn’t fair and because Bezos makes all that money and you and plenty of others don’t, that’s not unfair. He put in the work. Have you?
Even better stated!
Envy is the art of counting the other fellow’s blessings instead of your own.” – Harold Coffin
So everyone who works should receive an equal amount of money. That’s an interesting concept… Completely unfair! But interesting.
He should, and I’m sure does, pay for services rendered by the USPS or other vendors. He should NOT pay any more in taxes than required by law. If everyone else pays 20 or 30% that’s what he should pay. Because he makes so much money, that doesn’t mean he should have to give up 50 or 75% of that money to taxes. His innovation, hard work and work ethic made him a billionaire. Making him give up a higher percentage than everyone else to taxes is pretty much a punishment. Would you work harder to make millions only to be made to give up 1/2 or more to taxes? And if you would, that’s on you. You can give 100% of your money to charity if you want, that’s on you. But it’s his money and no one has the right to it other than him.
Billionaires do not pay their share of taxes due to write offs and many other loopholes. Often they pay less in taxes than your average Joe percentage-wise.
Agreed!! Unfortunately god is not gonna come down and bail us out. We have to do it by casting our votes for suitable democratic candidates that will make our voice know and pass the bills that will level the playing field. Go out and vote. Millions failed to vote in the last election and look what we got. 🤢
That’s the ol’ “Everybody gets a trophy“ mentality.
If you feel Bezos owes money to those who have less, how about you? I would guess that as an RN Case Manager you have more money than the person who collects your trash, or bags your groceries, or flips your burgers. Have you leveled the playing field and given your hard earned money to them to “level the playing field”?
Build up your treasures in Heaven… this world will pass.
Good for Bezos. I’m happy for him. All that money doesn’t make any more important than any other person. We all matter. Money doesn’t necessarily make anyone any happier either.
Your determination that his perseverance and eventual success somehow diminishes the value of others is telling. Should setting and achieving goals be punished?
You act like he was a child when his parents invested in his startup venture. He wasn’t. He was already working as a successful Financial Planner.
When his coworkers heard that he was quitting to mail books to people from an online webpage. The vast, vast, vast majority of his coworkers thought he was an idiot. Some of them probably laughed so hard they died on the spot.
His parents investment didn’t make Bezos rich. His parents faith in him and his idea, again when almost no one else did, made *them rich! They had enough faith in him and his ‘wild new idea’ to risk their retirement and home equity on it.
Would you 👀 have?
Because he did more than you ever will in a 270 lifetimes
They get the refunds and some didn’t even pay taxes! Make it make sense.
The OP conflated two separate things.
Taxes and Tariffs are different expenses, that's why they have different names. A company can legally pay zero in taxes yet still have been forced to pay the Great Cheetos illegal tariffs. If that happens the federal government owes those tariff payments back to them.
I don’t place value on how much money you have. It’s a shallow way of thinking. There are problems in every ones life, just different kinds.
Typical liberal thinking. All you can see is how much money the other guy makes and be jealous. How about what he's done for the average human being? You can get millions of super affordable products delivered to your door in less than a day.

Do your research. America is on fire! And it’s societies lower classes that are suffering the most and upper 1% just keep getting richer and richer.
Because he worked his butt off to create a company from his garage and it became extremely successful. Nobody is saying his life is more valuable. Go work hard and create something. Everyone has the power and ability to do the same thing. This victim mentality people have is what limits their own abilities to succeed.

Is that take home?
It would be better even for Jeff Bezos to ask: "what is the money for?" God gives different people different amounts of money. But some use it rightly and some to their detriment. At a certain point (when you have a good house to live in, food on the table and clothing to cover your body) the amount of money truly becomes irrelevant to you. But, how you use the money becomes more of a problem. If you spend it on luxury and hedonism, it will destroy you. But, if you use it for charity or building something good for the rest of humanity, if you give alms and your actions are guided by selfless love towards others, it will save you and give you honor not just in the life and Kingdom to come, but even in this present life.
It's not.
Amen
