Job app question for in-house/tech roles.

My entire career has been creative agency-side, where typical resumes don’t really matter, just your portfolio. I’ve always just listed the agencies and clients I’ve worked on, and awards.

When applying for creative roles at tech and other in-house roles, is it important to make a more traditional resume with bullets of accomplishments?

As we are not frequenting to office and clientsites, anyone plan to return their leased car to save money?

I’ve been seeing all of the Instagram and Linked In posts from agencies in town showing their “commitment to transparency in hiring” and to hire more minorities in light of the BLM movement. I knew the numbers were bad, but holy shit, not THAT bad.
It’s infuriating to me, as a POC how many fucking times I applied, emailed and reached out to so many of these agencies without getting even the time of day.
I’ll believe their supposed commitments, when I actually see the results.
