JPMorgan Chase I received an offer to work as an associate for JP Morgan Chase in their CCB department. I know a credit check will be coming and my credit score is around 620. I have 35k credit cards + personal loan debt and 46k student loan debt. Will my offer be rescind because of my debts? I have no derogatory remarks and always pay the bill on time. Thank you for your help.

Use your credit report to ask for more money - you got bills to pay 😀

No you're fine

You’re good, no sweat.

You are just fine

Nope. Your offer will not be rescinded. Don't worry :)

You might if you start worrying too much

Very true. Worry just kills todays peace, doesn't help your tomorrow. I wouldn't really worry about it. they more look for debts that you haven't kept up on like outstanding bills that you haven't been making payments on. You will be fine.

You acquired the loan for a legitimate cause. Besides, you said it yourself that you always pay on time. Don't stress yourself about it. you'll be just fine.

Only time to be stressed about it is if you have a history of delinquent payments, bankruptcy’s, settlements with creditors etc.

I am working from EU since last year (internal transfer from India), also doing freelancing for an another startup since last 2 years and the payment is going to Indian account.
My employer assigned a tax consulting company in India to support me in filing tax, somehow the tax consulting firm found that bank account via AIS document (not sure how they get it in that doc), as they found some interest credited for that saving account. Will I be in trouble? will I have to pay penalty :(?

One way to invest in rental properties is paying the downpayment and any renovation costs using saved up cash. I know folks also use HELOCs. So you'll end up with 2 loans. When do you pay off the HELOC? Personally I dont think taking out a HELOC is a great idea. What other strategy do you use to invest in rentals?

Is it true that some* debt is good debt. I’m referring to student loans, interest is ranging from 2% - 5% (all federal loans). Total is 20k, is it smarter to pay it off immediately and ASAP or just stretch and put the extra money into investing? Note I just graduated this year, thank you guys :)
