Just accepted a role in the Google Dublin office! Moving out of agency life finally - moving from a major US city, super excited but also scared, as I’ll be by myself. Plan is to work there for ~2yrs and then move back to the US. Account Manager role, had 4 YOE and applied without a referral (for those worried that your chances are slim without a referral). A recruiter emailed me saying they saw I applied for a role as a referred candidate, and they are “sharing my resume with the recruiter supporting this role for further review.” Is this a good sign? I’m surprised a recruiter reached out about my application who isn’t the recruiter for the job. Trying to moderate my hope if it’s not actually that promising?
