Just finished a brutal PIP that felt more like punishment than support. I “passed,” but I’m still walking on eggshells. How do you rebuild trust at work after something like that, or is it smarter to quietly start planning your exit?

If they put you on a PIP, they’ve already decided you’re disposable. Pass or fail, update your résumé and bounce. Don’t waste energy proving yourself to people who already wrote you off.

I’m currently at a studio that has been good to me. They took a chance and allowed me to change career paths. They gave me numerous opportunities that lead me to now, being the head of a department.
