Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Heard from few folks that its was changed to quarterly and in offer letter nowhere its mentioned that its monthly or quarterly.simply said applicable as per variable policy.
Any folks recently joined and received salary please confirm it.

Isn't the planting of the seed the reason you are in this mess?
The person on maternity leave is legally garunteed the same or equal job position when they return. If you usurp her role you may make an enemy. Don't recommend this. Maternity leave is not quitting.
Then ask for it. Anyone would gladly allow you to do more work for the same pay. #sadbuttrue
Omg no of course not. More like proposal to do the role for that time.
OK, you said it would be a promotion, which sounded like getting a new job, this person's previous job. But you're just helping cover for someone more senior while they're out on maternity leave. So yeah, just make it known you're up for it. But I wouldn't expect anyone to give you a promotion for that unless you also mention you'd like it as a trial run for advancing in your career after the person comes back to full-time
Just remember you can't get mad when she's back and you're not promoted or recognized. Just the way it goes - I've seen it before.
OP, that's not a promotion. They're certainly going to have you do her job (or some of it) while she's out, but don't expect a promotion out of it. Do a good job and it would be a good selling point for an internal promotion down the road though.
Just realized I forgot the important part...would be a promotion.
Is the person going on a maternity leave? Or quitting to be a stay at home Mom?
