So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Welcome to Accenture! You'll be fine. Take the time to connect with your scheduler, and get to know people in the office. You'll be surprised to know what roles/projects are available through networking. With a great attitude and positive outlook, I'm certain you'll get staffed in no time.
Thank you for the encouragement!
Once you land on your first project- do extremely well on that project & that network you built on that project will carry you on throughout your career.

Don’t worry about bench time as a new hire. Reach out to others, introduce yourself, learn about them and their work, and any potential work you can help with. It will set you up for long term success!
Welcome to the family!
No worries, when I joined I was on the bench for nearly three months, same for some of my colleagues and none of us got fired. Depending on the project situation, it‘s normal to have some bench time. Take your time to meet some colleagues! Best of luck
