At what point are you too specialized to lateral to internal audit? (PA, consulting, or industry roles) Currently have 2 years of external audit experience and 2 years of forensics: I always thought of internal audit as a decent exit but I’m beginning to get worried about getting too specialized to make that move one day

I just graduated and I have made it pass the third interview which was a two part working interview that I will receive compensation for. I have BS degree in healthcare professions and wanted to know if 40k is too low of salary to start off as a compliance officer for a pharmacy that provides discounted medications. Just started a new job less than a month ago in the tech sector. It was the industry I was fixated on when leaving for. However I realise that I don't think I can cope with the fast paced, lack of wlb, with no support - it's really impacting my mental health already....

I try to hide it from my boyfriend, but its impact is flowing into my personal life.

Deloitte 🐠, can an applicant use a referral from the same person more than once? Had a friend refer me for a role and the recruiter said I was a great fit but they already had candidates in the interview stage. Appropriate to use the same referral for a similar role or wait it out for a while?

Best consulting companies in the social sector?

Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?

Im a staff and am so over the remote work. Feel like ive learned significantly less than I could have this past year because Im not collaborating with people face to face. This work is so mundane working remotely.

Is it common for Big 4 to hire from ordinary colleges? I’m genuinely curious since not a single partner that I’ve known comes from a Ivy League and almost all of them have a single degree. Culturally this is slightly odd for me since I come from a place where u needed to have pretty strong credentials to get hired and people at the top had them too, if not better. Wondering if this is just skewed view due to the practices I’m exposed to or is actually common in the big 4?
