Just started at a new firm not too long ago (1 month-ish). I don’t really have much to do and I’ve tried gathering work. People send me work when they can but most things are in progress so it’s hard to plug me in. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Career Sabbatical?

Can anyone who has taken a career sabbatical to travel/explore other interests share their experience with both leaving their jobs and returning to the legal field?
I really want to live in Asia for a year at least before I have to settle down and start a family. I’m not getting younger but don’t want to be reckless with my career.
