Just this week, I trained two new people on how to process incoming payments, and that's on top of the three who started last month. We've been experiencing high turnover in my company's a/r department lately. It makes me wonder, are other companies seeing a high rate of employee turnover, too? Just curious.

Wow, that’s a lot of training in such a short time! Sounds like your A/R department is a revolving door lately. I’ve been noticing high turnover in a lot of industries too, seems like people aren’t sticking around as long. Maybe it’s pay, burnout, or just better opportunities elsewhere. Anyone else seeing this?

Maybe it's you?

You’re definitely not alone in this. The turnover rate in our A/R team has been ridiculous lately, and I’ve been spending so much time training new people that it’s hard to keep up with my regular tasks. I'd like to hear more about what's working for others.

Hi everyone - I made it to the final round of interviews with Amazon for a Program Manager position. They initially asked if I would relocate and at the time I said yes - however, due to my husband’s new job I’m no longer able to relocate.

Been working at my company as a new grad for almost a year, but don’t see myself in the team that I am in (working with Salesforce) for long term. Interested in frontend dev and have been learning on my own. Manager says chase doesnt have much React opportunities. Is it possible to make a switch when I barely have experience? Are there companies that will hire by seeing that I am willing to learn and am interested in frontend even tho I don’t have much experience with it yet?

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?

Anyone from EY-Parthenon, what does a typical senior consultant look like resume/experience wise? If I have audit and FDD experience as a Senior for 3 years (currently in FDD), a CPA, no MBA, is that enough to get in to EY-P? Or is the MBA basically required? What would I be missing? Thanks!
