How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

A few points:
-You don't receive the bonus if you upgrade your card
-You can only hold one Sapphire product at a time (unless they are opened on the same day)
-It's 2 years since your bonus posted and not when you opened the account
Here's what you need to do:
-Make sure it's been 2 years since you received your bonus
-If so, downgrade your CSP to a CF or CFU
-Wait a few days, apply for the CSR and spend to meet the requirements (if you want, you can also apply for the CSP the same day, it's called double dipping)
No need to wait that long - Chase uses their internal systems to determine if you have an open account, not your credit report. You could really do it after 1-2 business days but the generally consensus is to wait a week.
When I downgrade, do my points disappear? Could I transfer them to a friend and then have that person transfer them back?
Open CSR. Seems like a huge headache for 50K points - worth it? Really angry bc I spoke to customer service reps for the past few months and they had told me my original plan would be completely fine. Already applied for CSR and took the credit score hit. The other option available is to upgrade from CSP directly to CSR but miss out on the 50K point bonus. Thoughts?
Thanks! That’s what they implied over the phone, but they told me I’d need to wait around 30 days for the reserve to stop showing on my credit report.
Thank you!! This is so helpful.
OP, from my understanding, no - they won't disappear. The CF and CFU both are points earning cards, you're balances should be preserved. (A lot of people do this maneuver and I've never heard of someone losing their points.)
