Just turned 40 and have been trying to change career paths and get to the next step in my career. My company is huge and I reached out to so many people and no one is willing to have a conversation or even respond. I have a great reputation and a hard worker. I was honored to be enrolled into a mentorship program which I thought would open the door but nothing happened my mentor low balled me and said maybe I should be an office manager while I am a sr program manager. Any advice??

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

I got an offer in industry! Feeling excited but at the same time very confused. It’s a good offer that I don’t want to pass up but also feel extremely bad leaving during busy season. I have been faking and slacking for last 2 years. I am not being pushed and challenged at work. Nobody bothers to follow-up on my work. I take my sweet time to do the bare minimum. This company wants me to develop a growth strategy that outlines key initiatives for growth, different opportunities, experiments I’d run, KPIs, and working cross-functionally.

Getting an offer for an L6 non-tech position under strategy. This would be for a MCOL city. What are reasonable numbers I should ask for vs. should truly target to compromise at? The recruiter is asking for a number first. 10 YOE
