Don’t do it! Software testing gets boring real quick and the upward mobility is limited. In terms of comp, it’s about right
i think if you have a CS degree from any top 100 university with at least 1 relevant internship or other decent experience and you are taking a job in a city like DC, 80k is probably a fair salary. like IBM1 said, you’re probably overqualified.

Yea I see testing labor rates, they're not that high. I'd negotiate and see if they can get you $70-75k though
