So let me clarify here, when potential recruiters ask for your CTC then do you only state the fixed part ? My reason to ask is if you don’t include the variable % range then it maybe a case of underquoting your actual market value
I am not sure about KPMG but most of the firm's where ai got Offer letter from has mentioned the variable part in it as a part of CTC.
Funny how we do not get to know the perc of variable pay until the end of the performance year.
Variable pay is just an add-on which is always in the hands of employer.. first timers gets trapped and do no negotiate on the fixed thinking about the complete package.. but what u say as expected CTC should be the one which is offered to u including variable pay.
No, the CTC is the fixed part
They do not include Variable in CTC
i am getting 5 lpa as a fresher as cyber security analyst in kpmg india so does it contain variable pay or its just fixed ctc?
None of the big4s mention their variable in the offer letter, atleast the India practice doesn't. Your variable will be between 8-34% but all totally depends on your business line.
We negotiate fixed to fixed
Variable is aside of your fixed CTC and on top of it! When you quote CTC include everything , fixed + variable + Retiral benefit + insurance + gratuity!
You can always showcase ur complete package including variable to other ORG.. Understand the variable is also something which u will get based on ur performance and is a part of ur package.. you should always negotiate on ur in hand salary but the complete CTC should also be considered
Deloitte does and I can say that as I am an ex Deloitte however, if you consider the other big 4s none of them do atleast not kpmg and ey
The india practice doesn't. Maybe the USI practice does
