Received an offer far below what the recruiter said was the target salary, and even below what the recruiter said was the floor… how to respond? The role is internal (with a subsidiary), and I am having a tough time coming up with a scenario where I don’t take it because even below what the recruiter said, it’s a level above my current role.

Salary offer of $82,500 with 9% bonus for an RIA based on Los Angeles. Is this comparable to the market at the moment? Position is for an advisory associate that handles project management rather than advising.

Billing is about to drive me over the edge. I hate it. I love the law, generally like most aspects of my job, but the billing is awful. I feel super depressed and burnt out because of it. My bills are okay. I just don’t have 8 hours worth of work everyday/when I work for 7 hours on a substantive document I’m exhausted. I don’t know if I can keep this up. Any advice?
