Debt to income ratio is real. You can have a big salary and large debt and still living paycheck to paycheck. Or you could have a modest income and no debt, have a decent savings and able to enjoy life a little more.
Having large debt could potentially be issues with the way he handles money. Or he may just have a mortgage so context is important.
Honestly A matters a little less, a long as he can afford his lifestyle (which I would assume his bills are paid and he could keep up with things we decide to do as a couple), savings is important but I don't think it tops A or B and investments would come after savings for me.

All of the above. I need to know your financially stable and aren’t just thinking about your now but your future as well.
Not for me. I don’t want excessive debt because I don’t have any and definitely don’t wish to take his on. I’d also like for him to make good income and keep reaching for higher if necessary. We can work on investments together but at minimum he needs to have a 401k. I knew someone that said they don’t have a 401k and wasn’t looking to get one and he was in his 30s with no other investments. I need someone that has generational wealth not debt in mind.
How do you all verify this details? Ask for evidence?

Yes, of course. Integrity is a MUST.
